Finished the eyes, still need to work the lights and shadows.
Layed the base paint for the helmet using vallejo brass plus a little bit of vallejo metal medium

Finished the helmet, after few washes of vallejo sephia and detailing the creaces with sephia wash plus sephia ink, i added light using vallejo gold, a dab of brass and metal medium.
The wig it's also done.

Alright, finished the hated green lol.
I've use the following:
Base, andrea Napoleonic green with a dab of Dark Prussian Blue
Lights, base + vallejo sunny skintone
Shadows, Base + black
I added few washes of vallejo green shade mixed with vallejo green black ink.
Then re-touched lights with base + sunny skintone.

After work i had some little time to ley the base color for the lapels , cuffs and turnbacks.
I am painting this dragoon in the facing color of the Orleans Dragoons.
The facing color is pink, so i am using the same base color as of the 40mm Touraine Regiment.
Lapels and cuff
Base : vallejo pink and a dab of Andrea Napoleonic Red
For the tails of the coat i decided to use a different pink.
In this case it's vallejo brown pink.

Finished the face, i will probably wash it a couple times to blend in all the areas a little.
The coat is almost done, lapels done.
I took the original musket for two reasons, the detail was horrible and the year model was incorrect.
I have replaced the fusil by cut it exactly where the original was and place it on the trooper's hand , i also got rid of the bayonet and added a better one.
I will work next on the vest and pants.

I've never looked at the vallejo brown pink, that is a real nice colour for me to use

He is looking really good Daniel.
You did a very good job with the green tones, so no need to worry about that colour mix ever again. With the facing colour the jacket is superb.

Paul, the color i've use on the lapels and cuffs is Vallejo Salmon Rose, the ones on the turnbacks is Brown pink, great color to use as a base for pink too.

The green i am still not happy, but i am worry that i am going to keep touching up and mess the whole thing up.
So if you thing it's ok i will probably leave it like that.
