Hi Dave,

Historex has some heads. But I don't remember if they're bare and at the momment I'm having some trouble reaching their webpage.

I'll take a look later and tell you something more.

Cheers,

Hi Dave,

It's me again.

I just remember and went to Historex Agents and searched for heads.

Among the several results there were heads from Andrea and Historex.

The Andrea heads aren't bare but Historex has some but I couldn't confirm because there's no pics of them.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Paulo

Historex makes some nice ones. I think head set #7 is the last one I got. It's very good with several expressions. As Gary said Hornet makes three 1/32 sets that are the same quality as their 1/35.

hi dave
You can try all the ideas above also Michael roberts in the States produce 54mm heads. Historex ones go under the name of Nemrod

Dave, the exact scale you're going to be working at has a large bearing on what'll work here. As far as the Hornet heads go, remember that Bill Horan has made extensive use of them over the years for his 1/32 scale (true 54mm) pieces.

Some or all of the sets produced by Historex are sculpted by Julian Hullis and they're very good, some of the best available IMO, but they may be a little large for what you need. Historex figures are roughly 1/30 scale, not 1/32.

Same thing with the MIG spare heads that I sculpted, most are made for the current crop of figures which are quite a bit larger than 54mm in height - 60-65mm. Some are a bit smaller though (deliberately! :D) Here are the two bald sets which would probably be most useful:

The entire range can be seen here.

These look quite nice Einion. I'd forgotten you did these. Haven't seen any in the round yet though.
