54mm mule!

Does any one know if there is a decent 54mm pack mule on the market. I know there are a few 1/35 scale offerings but I've this idea to build part of a British Napoleonic mountain gun on a mule. I'm not too worried about the saddle and tack but the animal should be halfway decent :)

Cheers

Jon, the French manufacturer DES Kit do one. Or at least they did one (don't know whether it's still available, I picked mine up at Euro in 2007 or 08).

It comes with a monk figure and the set is called "Moine et son âne", kit no. 54106-F. The animal comes with baggage cast on and it would probably fit your bill. Hope that helps.

Jon, I don't know if the old Mountford range are still around. They did a few pack mules to go with their artillery ranges. Don't Historex do one in plastic? or is that a donkey.

Hecker & Goros have/had a 54mm pack mule for their Gebirgsjäger series.

Muli vor!

Thanks for your help guys.(y)
The Andrea and Tradition seem to be readily available and although the Tradition one is a couple of quid more you get the figure and boxes which will always come in handy.
I shall keep you posted as and when the project develops.

Cheers
