Thanks mate, feeling a bit better now. On the modelling front, nearly at the finishing line. Need the scene to dry then taking some photographs.

That groundwork looks really good, and it blends nicely with the wooden base. I wouldn't put any pictures on the base, they will spoil the impact of the composition IMO.

Added the figures and sled to the scene, it’s all done apart from adding some more varnish and taking some final photographs. Will let the pigment cure overnight so images tomorrow after I’ve tidied up the work bench. Oh, my bad re the the sides, already done.

Thank you mate, I know adding pictures to the base is all arty farty, but I think they add to the narrative and weathering them links it with the wood front. Slightly fortuitous that the ship image glacier links perfectly with the wood grain perfectly as well.
