Cheers Steve, lots yet to do on the base work. Will be slightly experimental as I go as never made a snow/ice scene before. Now that's what I'm talkin bout! Outstanding ground and figure work!
Thank you kindly. Nearly finished the figures, onto fiddly bits and the sledge atm.
Thanks mate, will do. It’s certainly been a couple of days of fiddly bits sorting that sled.Look forward to seeing the Figure pics
Have fun on the fiddly bits

Thanks mate. Not changing the flag at this late stage as it looks good in situ when in the scene. I will weather it a bit but had the lurgy last couple of days. So sorting the base and heading toward the finish line on what has been a great project. I concur, the Scott polar institute is great, I will get to see the museum one day, just a shame it was closed when we went.Hi Marcus
You've done a excellent job on the sledge , love the equipment you've included , painting looks great
If I may and this is a personal thought , the flag might look better less full ......I know the winds can be horrific in the arctic !
This project has had me and many looking at the expedition and at the Polar Institute in Cambridge...incredible artifacts and incredible brave men
Thanks for sharing .....can't wait to see this at hopefully Bugle Call
Looking forward to seeing more
Have FUN @ the bench

Thanks mate. The average sled for man hauling was over 200kg, this would be around 300kg bearing in mind they would be dropping some supplies for the return journey, hence the 5 man team. But they were all on starvation rations as it turns out, one of the many mistakes that ultimately cost all their lives. That sled looks really heavy! Great modelling, can't wait to see the whole thing.....
Wibble! Thank you Mario.damned, you are crazy you know LOL how fantastic is this djeez, I love it a lot and how you do it???
no idea, this is gonna be amazing when it's done, keep it up
