This is turning out very well. A real nice figure. I always have a hard job dirtying up the nice paint job. Just my quirk.

Cheers Roc. I did want to paint the unit designation on the knapsack but I've been unable to find some hard and fast evidence for the 6th Wisconsin so rather than guess I'll be leaving it off.
If anyone knows otherwise I'd be glad to hear from you.

Todays work

Today I worked on the knapsack, blanket, haversack and canteen plus a few bits of touching up. Tomorrow I'll probably make a start on the M1861 Springfield Rifle and the hands.

Hi Paul, the plan is to crack on with those tomorrow. Painting hands and weapons is my least favourite aspect of our hobby. At least this one is a decent size.
