Hi all well we are stepping away from our military side to bring you the first in our new range of fantasy figures.

This will run alongside our comic book Heroes of yesteryear. This range will expand the same as the comic book side.

Here we have 75mm Edward Claw Hammer the Assassin.

He comes from the steam punk / post apocalyptic scene. He stalks the night. If your on his list then you will feel the wrath of his mighty claw hammer. No one knows where he came from all they know Death follows. You never see his face and those who have never live to tell the tale. To look into his eyes is to know death.

This is the first Fantasy piece our good friend Greg Girault has ever done.

We think he’s done a great job which what we asked for.

We hope to have the first castings by the end of the month I will keep you updated.

In the mean time keep a keen eye open for Edward you never know where he will turn up next.

Hi Ian and Malc , yes lots to go at indeed lots of different textures. You can let your imagination go wild on him with leather and other fabrics. The colours are up to the painter it’s a bit of a blank canvas.

I think he is great, in the gaming genre this style is "Victorian Gothic", steampunk generally having a lot more tech.
He looks like an archetypical grave robber, very much a William Burke type rogue.

Hi Rob thank you for the genre he would fit into “Victorian Gothic” I like it very much. He’s definitely a rogue but I think he’s more interested in putting people in graves rather than rob them.

It’s a bit of a departure for us and one we will explore alongside our comic book heroes, Flash Gordon is well underway as our companion to Ming the Merciless which will be out in the next couple of weeks. It’s just their is such a lot of cool stuff in the fantasy realms, and it will attract the younger artists.

The Box art will be done by our good friend Ernesto Reyes, looking forward to seeing what he does with it. We are just so happy that Greg did such a cool job on it and it’s his first sculpt in the fantasy world.

Will keep you updated on the release date which will be very soon.

Hi Steve

That's a surprise release , great idea adding this sort of thing to the TFB catalogue

Plenty to paint with so many options

Thanks for sharing

Nap

Let me address the issue the castings were delayed and have now been posted yesterday so they should be with you shortly. We cast in Spain and had a problem with customs. This has been sorted and the kits are on the way as of yesterday. We put up a post on our FB page saying sorry for the delay. But things happen and problem resolved. It would have been no issue if we had not had the customs issue (First Time this happened )

The new fantasy figure is NOT a pre Order and has not gone for casting we have a number of projects on the go and will announce when they are ready. If your dissatisfied with the castings when you receive them feel free to return them and a full refund will given. I take full responsibility as it’s my duty to make sure things run smoothly. On this occasion it was out of my hands and in the hands of HM customs. The orders will be hitting customers in the next few days.

As I said I’m sorry for the delay but you could have messaged us at any time. Sorry if you did not see the announcement on both FB and Instagram where it was put. I should have put it here my fault.

Normal service is now resumed one hiccup is enough for us to change our policy. With regards to pre order this will now only happen once the castings are on the way from Spain which takes about a week and we ship the day after the kits arrive and are sorted. This way no inconvenience to anyone.

Thank you

Hi Nap thank you for the kind words, it will not be released in time for Bugle call sorry to say it will go off for casting next week then it takes about a week for the moulds and casting then another week to get it back to the Uk so it’s cutting it very fine indeed but we have lots of other goodies for the show.

Thanks for letting us know.
These things are sent to try us and now and again, both manufacturer and customer.
Fingers crossed it won't happen again.
Looking forward to receiving my order, and getting them on the bench. :)

Hope they will be the original Buster Crabbe Flash and Charles Middleton Ming the Merciless?
Rick

Hi Rick yes they are based on the original character see below. He is being cast up now so should not be too long fingers crossed. Flash Gordon is well under way and will pair with Ming very well indeed.

Malc your right things do happen and it’s out of our control. Fortunately it’s now being resolved and the next batch with other new figures / busts will be with us shortly. They are the Tall Hat Bust, Ming the Merciless and the US Marine bust. Then work will be done on the Edward Claw Hammer Figure. You will love the ACW kits they have come out very well indeed.

I find both this post and your PM irksome. In both you shift blame. Frankly, I’m more annoyed now.

I’m your customer. I’m the one who has paid almost $200 with nothing to show for it. Why do I need to hound you for information? A manufacturer should be regularly updating the customer.

First, my invoice receipt very clearly states: “We’ll let you know when your items have shipped.” Well, I’m still waiting for that email (and yes, I’ve checked the SPAM folder). Those are your words/terms on the order receipt. Judging from the responses here, no one else got this email either, else someone would have mentioned receiving one.

Yes, my fault for not receiving the email you didn’t send.

Not everyone uses FB or Instagram.

You posted and promoted these kits/preorders here for weeks… but yet didn’t think to post here that the kits were received and shipped?

Yes, my fault for not reading the update here that you didn’t post, and also my fault for not following you on FB and not having an Instagram account.

Yep. All my fault. So sorry.

I Sent you a PM to give you the option of a refund no blame was lodged with anyone on here. It was an explanation of the issue. I accepted responsibility for the delay. We posted on our other out let’s and explained the situation others excepted it with no issues. No blame no excuses just fact.

I stand by my response it was a issue that happened it’s now Been resolved. I mentioned the other platforms as that is where we do most of our promotions and WIP / painting Demos on both FB and Instagram

Again at no time did I say this was your fault. Sorry I’m not perfect and I should have made sure it was on all platforms we use but I did not and so this is my Fault.
