Ya know, I'm not a big Cossak fan at all. I think I'm more of a Quang fan. I look at this photo and I've just got to have it. As others have stated, I love the scale. I think its clean and I don't think that its over done. Thank you Quang for making another fantastic piece and producing it for the market.

Two thumbs up with a huzzah!

John

Mr. Burns of The Simpsons fame has the right word for this:

"Excellent!"

And this (as every one of Quang's efforts) is a perfect example of how a figure can be both historically accurate and artistically attractive, a notion that seems to be in frank recession...

Keep up the good work!

Dani

Much obliged, John!

Thanks, Dani, for your comments. All the more precious that we miss your incisive insights here on the Planet. :(

Hello Quang,

that is a really lovely Sulpture - as always when it comes out of your bench. (y)

I personally love this different theme and that this little man isn`t so atheltic as the most we see. That`s what I like especially at this sculpt.

I´m looking forward to see this one painted !!!

The best wishes,
Markus

Quang,
A beautiful sculpting job from under your very talented hands (y)
A great subject matter, one can almost smell the call of Wild Plains of Zaporozah emitting from this figure.
Cheers,
A.

Interesting figure, but then so are most of the ones that you produce! I'll take a fair amount of paint to cover that waistline LOL - be a great piece to paint - and colourful too I bet.

Markus, I admit he's not Brad Pitt.

Er, I'd rather not, Arthur.

Indeed, Dave. Especially that as a wealthy leader, he should be wearing rich, damascened fabrics and ornate weapons. It's the reason why I'm procrastinating instead of setting out to paint. :)

Thank you all for your comments. Gotta get back to the brushes,

Quang

One more thing. There'll also be an extra optional head included in the kit.

Is it because it looks a little bit like a vintage Civil War photograph? ;)

Anyhow, I believe every figure has a 'sweet spot'. A slight angle or moving the camera up or down makes all the difference. I'll try to keep the same angle for the box art.

Thank you, guys for your input.

No, although I think it's a nice touch. I just realized he has a fur hat on in the secind picture. They are both nice. I really do like the physical appearance of this guy.~Gary

... Sorry for coming in here so late, but had some other business - am recovering now from surgery in hospital.

But hey, Quang, as I told you before : great figure, great character, and you're the master of what they call the "natural pose". And see, I KNEW he was some sort of hetman or chief even before you told us he is, the figure just looks the part ... just proves what a capable sculptor you are, that you can tell a whole story just with some milliput and no words at all.

I am happy that I may count such a talented man among my friends.

Look forward to buying this figure in Antwerp !! :)
