Very fine and neat work, especially the braid and shabraque.

The pelisse does look very big to me (if it is a pelisse) more like an overcoat in bulk and length, the side views and rear showing the braid in particular. Comparing to the body it should finish at the waist.

Other than that I think very crisp and in no way do I mean to take away the skill involved, just what I am seeing before the paint goes on :)

Thanks for looking and commenting.
Before 1804 the pelisse is 20cm longer than the dolman (this regiment was raised in 1800).
I have cut the pattern of the pelisse in lead foil upon an Historex torso as a tailor would have made it. I have then duplicated this pattern in Andrea Sculpt and added the sleeves, modelled around brass wire.

Very nice sbs! Will follow this closely, very impressive work with all parts.

Good morning.

After a looooooooong break I am back to the bench and just completed the assembly.

Glad to see this one back on the bench. Great finish on the sculpt....

Now let's see some colour on this one. Can't wait to see the bright colours of this uniform coming together.

Outstanding work so far , a real masterpiece . I can't wait to see some colours go on as there has been a bit of a down turn in Napoleonic figures over the last few years and they can be so colourful .

Fantastic conversion and an excellent sbs article. Can't wait to see some paint on it.
