I have just received dreadful, tragic news that Pete Moreton has suddenly passed away in his sleep last night.
I am deeply shocked and saddened by his passing and the miniature modelling community has lost one of the most talented sculptors in the world.
I have known and employed Pete for over 25 years and my business owes so much to him for the wonderful, skilled sculptures that he made for me.
May I convey my very sincere condolences to his family, friends and everyone who knew him.
Goodbye "M8" and may you rest in peace.

Your friend,

Rob

Pete ,

I met you but once and you inspired me , you must be looking down on us from above with pride at all the wonderful sculpts you did and pleasure you gave us all .

Sadly misssed and our thoughts are with all the family

RIP Pete

Jeez I'd never met Pete in person but he was a guy I'd have loved to have met :( I was looking forward to some of the sculpts he was talking about doing in the future. Sad loss indeed hope the celestial bar is well stocked

There isn't many things in this world that stun me any more, but this has!!!
I was only talking to Pete a couple of days ago on the phone! I am totally lost for words!
Pete was a friend of mine of many many years, we are both Brummies!
We had some laughs together, regardless of his undoubted talent. He was great company!
God bless you me ol China!!!
