That really is great sculpting. You can really see the detail when looking at the in progress sculpt. How do I get in touch with Maxime Penaud ? I think we could use the talents of this sculptor at Kings Road Miniatures.

Just got this little fellow in the mail......sweet !!!
Loads of character in the face and the chain mail is awesome for the small size. Came in 2 pieces.....bust and helmet.

the bust seems to sell very good:

"ATTENTION : rupture de stock. Ce produit sera à nouveau disponible à partir du 22 mai 2008."
(from the kraken editions homepage)

Do they have a store in france?? I visit france this summer again and it would be great if i could by the figure in a shop or something (because of the 15€ package and shipping...)

Yeah, it's fab. I've never seen mail sculpted better that I can remember. It is very large but since this is a fantasy piece we can ignore that completely.

Yes this a nice unusual piece but where do you get your scale from? You say this is a 50mm bust but the ruler in the pictures shows 5inch which equates to 125mm. If it is 125mm this really represents great value for money.
Wasn't the world a better place when we ALL used feet and inches:confused:

I got mine yesturday, I have to say these French manufacturers are really setting the bar high for others to follow. It is a cracking piece, absolutely nothing in clean up and its just perfect, the helmet is cast so fine you can just see light through it, just to keep the thickness down, it is superb, I also have to say mine is in primer already........

FYI...For those in the USA.

I just saw these up on the Red Lancers website.
I guess they came back with Chuck from WE'08.
Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.:D
