A Fixture
Got last week my kit from Andy and before I will start tomorrow in my holidays I thought it would be a good idea to present it here as a little review.
First of all you will find in your kit many, many resin-parts. So this kit is nothing for a painter, who want to glue only one part to his figure and then start painting. The figure has only 4 parts: Body, head and the two hands, but the mortar need some more work. There are over 30 parts you need to build the mortar, but you will find a piece of paper with a instruction.
Before you can start building the mortar you had to clean some parts. But I know that from other kits too and the kit from Andy is it worth to do it.
You will find many detail-photos so you can see how much work is was to make the master. And I had not counted the rivets but I think Andy has them made all. It is a ambitious kit but I can only recommended it to all which are interested in World War I. I think everybody will have much fun to build and paint it and make a suitable base.
I have attached some photos from the making of the mortar. So you can get a impression what Andy had done.
If my english would be a little bit better and if I would know all expressions, which I need to describes the parts of the mortar, I would write much more. But so I will talk to you the attached photos.
