Thanks Carl see you in the morning. Don't be late.:p

Richie appreciate the input mate and it looks like it's 2-1 for the belt ... still I'm happy about the hat though.

Cheers Ken

Thanks for that Steve , another option I've considered was to have a pistol hanging around his neck by a string for more fire power when going into battle.

Cheers Ken

That would work Ken I would imagine it was tucked in the shirt till needed to save the embarrassment of a busted nose at full gallop :blackeye:

Hi Ken ,

Been following this since the start , really good to see a work progress ...its looking good like the hat as well as the facial features .

Like the pistols idea but IMO with a belt would work better just to tie them in

Keep us updated on the release details

Thanks Kev appreciate the comments and looks like another vote for adding the belt. (y)

Karl many thanks mate .
Following the club show over the weekend and the comments and advice made there and in this thread , I've decided to go with adding the belt.
More updates to follow.(y)
Cheers Ken

awesome work looks very good. Just strange pocket angle but not a very big problem (y)

Cheers

Reynald

Reynald and Pedro many thanks .
I will be posting what hopefully will be the finished bust later today with just one or two minor additions.

Cheers Ken

After adding the belt , the tear in the pocket and an embroidered heart probably from a sweetheart or sister , I had planned on these being my final pictures. However I have since added a little of his battle shirt showing below the belt to show how these were often worn.
Many thanks for looking and welcome all critique and comments.
I will take the finished pictures in daylight and post tomorrow.
Cheers Ken

Looks very nice Ken (y) You errr aren't going with my brilliant alternate heads plan then  Belt really sets him off definitely the right choice mate. Is it just the angles or is he carrying two different pistols ?
