Hello all. I would like introduce myself before showing my last work. My name is María José Saavedra, But you can call me Pepa (Pepa Saavedra). I´m Spanish painter (so that, sorry for my bad english :eek: ). I like to paint large scales and mainly female figures. Nevertheless, first that I´m going to show you it´s this bust of Andrea miniatures (After the battle).

There are a lot of versions of this bust, for that reason it was very difficult to me to face this work and to try to make something different from the other painters. I dont know íf I have reached it.

I painted it with acrylic paints and airbrush, of course I have also used brushes in my painting work. Hope you like ;) and I would like to know your opinion about it.

Kisses: Pepa.

Hi Pepa

Welcome to Planet Figure and thanks for showing your version of this bust.

I love your treatment of the leather, and the blood looks good, without being too "over the top".

Welcome Pepa,
Looks a great painted bust to me. The facecolors are awesome and the leatherwork is amazing.
Thanks for showing your bust and i hope you can show more of your work.

Beautiful work

Really well done on so many different varieties of metal, leather and the black tunic. The face looks as though it's been airbrushed as, well is it?

Welcome to the planet Pepa and it great to see your work here.

regards,
Marcel.

Hi guys, thanks all for your kind words. I´m very glad that you've liked this painting job. I also appreciate your warm welcome, for sure you'll see more of my works here.

Yes it is, I always use airbrush to paint my figures and busts, and of course, in this as well. Airbrush 80-90% brush 20-10%, it depends on the kind of figure.

@Figurelover: Man, I´m a woman ;)

Thanks again.

Kisses: Pepa.
