Have a good look around! there is some good kit out there @ reasonable prices! :D

Nice, those look more appetitive regarding the shipping cost...so if I have to choose a brand, I will stick with Badger & Iwata?

Later on I will come back with more question regarding the accessories, like cleaning kit etc... :cautious::)

There are some other very good brands,.. but this is when the cost can escalate! .. both of the above brands carry a range that is reasonable in cost and have quality behind them. But that is just my opinion;)

Hi, Rodrigo, I use a Paasche VL, double-action, siphon-fed, and a Sears Craftsman 1 HP compressor, 3-gallon tank, maximum 125 psi. I bought that particular compressor because I can use it with some air tools, as well as with the airbrush.

I like the brush, but if I were looking for a new one, I would get a gravity-fed brush. I don't really use the siphon attachment and jars; I use the cup. And when it's mounted in the port, it sticks out to the left or the right. That makes it a little cumbersome to grasp, I find. But it's a minor issue.

I agree about being careful about price. That is, I wouldn't necessarily get the cheapest airbrush you can find, on the idea that it's just for training and you'll soon replace it. I would get a good brush, one that you can train on, and one that will last a long time.

Hope that helps!

Hi Rodrigo, if it would help you, I have an 'Aztek' airbrush that is surplus to my needs. You are more than welcome to it, just for the cost of postage.

Regards

Ha, Rod! Genau, genau, genau! :) I think I got mine on sale for $90, but that was about 10 years ago. So far, it works well for me. The only issue I have is that the plastic pressure adjustment knob broke off, so I have to turn the metal stem directly, but that's not a real problem. It is noisy, of course, but that's not a problem for me, either.

Now, you just need to get an airbrush and get started :D

Prost!
