Also could someone point me towards any reviews.

All the best.

Hello Me,

I have never used them so no help there.
I did however purchase a couple of sets of Hawk Miniatures brushes at
Euro. I have been using them ever since and todate I'm well pleased.
Nap did a review on them a few months back.

Yes, I've tried them, and they're OK.....for a while. I found they lose their integrity, if you catch my meaning, mate. Then they become undercoaters:rolleyes: Hope this helps your decision.

Fave brushes are the ones from Broken Toad.

I bought some 'pre-owned' ones from Nap. earlier this year and they are great to use. The number 1's hold plenty of paint and yet have a tip fine enough to paint a catchlight on a 54mm figure (Wish my eyes were as good)
I do hammer them, using them for mixing and base coating too (I can hear the cries of anguish), but I do clean them after every session with some cleaning soap

Not much help with regard the Andrea ones, but I'm buying a few more of these when these start to show signs of becoming 'under-coaters' even though the price makes me wince a bit. Compared to the amount we spend on figures they are a bargain

Hi Ralph

I would stay away from Andrea ones personally , I have BT and Hawk ones , they are both very good of course I have as well W & N series 7 .

There are threads about brushes here ..but really it's a personal choice
