Hi PF friends!

I started painting the figure of Zouave volunteer to take part in my tiny scene that you previously saw here... As always I forced the lights and shadows in these little figures... much of you guys probably dont like to see those harsh effects, others like, I Like and that is what is important for me.
Have a good weekend!

Pedro.

love it Pedro,i am one of the "marked" contrast between lights and shadows, i know all depends on the size of the figure and i admire subtle too, just not my style.
Great job, keep it up Pedro (y)

I think that lights and shadows work very well on this one. Could be the picture but double check the alignment of the pupils - his left eye seems to look slightly in a different direction. Very nice paintjob!!
All the best!
Martin

I was going to mention the eyes too.
I think the lower lid on the left needs lifting slightly.
Lovely work Pedro,
Carl.(y)

Pedro.

Hey, nearly missed this Pedro.
Nice start. I like the red very much. Quite vibrant.
Contrast on the face is good for this scale I think.

Cheers buddy,
Adrian

great working on this figure Pedro, we have to remember how it is difficult to paint a face in a good manner, especially for the eyes , in a so small scale as the 54 mm is , and you did a really a great job on it ..also i agree for the contrast, smaller the figure deeper the contrast , it is also my liking ..
cheers
stefano

Adrian, Eduardo and Stefano, many thanks for the comments. This figure is nearly 65mm. I have here other figures from Andrea much smaller and also 54mm. cheers
