So there you have it. It can be a Hussar! A word of caution. Be careful which regiment you choose and check your references. By far, the absolute BEST reference for French Napoleononic figures is Lucien Rousselot. Get his book or the color plates. It is THE reference.

I guess it could still be a Chasseur a Cheval da la Garde but that will require some serious work. I too hope the release so more figures along this line but what's really interesting is people are going to have to learn some of the "old timers" skills they so expertly displayed converting Airfix figures. Never throw away old books. You never know when you might need them again!

You right the reference is Rousselot's plates, but do not forget the Bucquoy cards (and books), and if you come in France , near where i live, (in French Pays Basque-Bayonne), there's a city with the best Hussar museum, Tarbes, you must visit it it's a little museum, but with an amazing collection of Hussars uniforms from around the world.

Zastrow Cuirassier, I`m getting serious museum envy

I like the "multipose" concept of this release even more than the vignette concept of the lancier and the yet to come cuirassier. Though if it were the other way round I`d probably complain, too ...
These releases, even if not perfect are very welcome nevertheless. I hope for more
