Heading out to see my brother-in-law in London, Ontario, next weekend. I was wondering if there are any good hobby shops there. Specially the ones that sell figures. I know there are a few members of the Planet that reside there. Greetings to all of you and thx (y) .

Cheers
Francis

Hi Francis. Sorry to tell ya, but we aren't really well-served, figuratively speaking. There's a Games Workshop outlet, an indie gaming fig shop (Imperial Hobbies) which carries GW and a few other lines, and a plastic kit shop (McCormick's) which has the usual Dragon etc. 1/35 and a large selection of 1/72 plastics. The other hobby shops are into RC or trains. I'm trying to get an all-figure shop started, myself, but I won't have it going by next weekend. :( Your best bets are The Sentry, in Toronto, for historical kits, and Maitland Toy Soldiers in Goderich for, um, toy soldiers. We do have at least 5 comic book shops, some of which carry action and gaming figs. And a dozen or so tattoo parlours (most are HA fronts). Speed City Records sells the best music for hundreds of miles around. Enjoy your visit!

Grooves sells better music and you know it... :) :) :)
McCormick's is worth a look, (like mike said, not so much for figures, but they have a pritty good selection of everything else). It's on Oxford st, just east of Richmond (500feet or so)...

Hey,

Thx guys, I'll check out McCormick's and the wife will definitely want to take a look at the music shops.

Cheers
Francis

I'll be selling Mike Todd (Speed City) some '70s punk 7-inchers first thing on Saturday- gotta feed the figure monkey! BTW every male in London is named either Mike or Dave Clarke. ;)
