Many thanks I would love to say that was the one I was after - marvelous work that it is.

Bill Hearne created one off sculpts for Esci motorcycles kits one was the US MP on a Harley and the other was a German motorcyle and side car - we are talking late 70's?

The German build can be seen below

Too bad $99 for bootleg copies of the Campaign magazines on CD. They have been selling on the web for quite some time now. Anyone can scan the magazines and sold for a buck. Just like selling recasting figures.

The annoying thing is I had the magazine years back with the article in, but sold it

As you say $99 for a bootleg compilation is a lot of money! I will keep on trying to see if pops up on eBay (its in issue 4 along with an article about Ray Anderson), only copies I have seen come from the USA and the postage is crazy money.

Daft chasing after one article - but Bill Hearnes work inspired me the most way back then - still looks good today...

I don't know why this happens but a few months ago I gave away a full set of Campaigns. Always seem to be that there's no apparent interest until something's gone.

Rich ,

If you need a specific article let me know which magazine number or details and I will send a copy as I have the full set of Campaigns magazines

Happy thinking

Kev your a diamond - I believe it to be issue #3. It should be an article about his upcoming paratrooper sculpt for esci, I think it also shows the American MP on a Harley. When I can get to computer I will PM my address. Many thanks for your kind offer.

I think my holy grail kits are the 3 90mm mounted 7 years war pieces by Barton miniatures. they looked fantastic back in the day and I never got around to getting them who knows one day maybe.

no it is the figure standing with a tricorn on his head and wearing a uniform similar to which was worn by English troops at culloden. there are 2 similar figures, one with his coat tails turned back and the other with them down. both are standing in a relaxed pose with their muskets in front of them. / badger
