Hi Mike,

I just made my reservation at the Wyndham. I'm posting reply here rather than sending e-mail, so possibly other vendors will read this.

The schedule for show events occurs during the actual show hours. Since I will need to work the show, I would anticipate not being able to attend any of these events.

I will stay an extra day (checking out of hotel on Monday), and if there were additional battlefield/museum type events added to schedule on Monday, I would attend.

If not, I'll still stay the extra day & do it on my own.

This show is shaping up to be another "World"-type show (like Boston a few years ago), and the schedule of events you have put togther is awesome. I would think it will be the largest event in our hobby since that World Show, most certainly in 2009. Looking foward to it!

Thank you (and the other organizers) for setting this whole thing up. It must be a lot of work for you guys to do all of this.

What better place in USA to have a figure show than Gettysburg!!!???

Regards,
John

John,

Thanks for the post. Yes, this thing has grown quite a bit since it's inceptiona a couple years ago.

If anyone is staying for an extra day or arriving early and would like to schedule something please let me know. If we get enough to put a tour together I can arrange something. Becasue we would have to use a Licensed Battlefield Guide there will probably be a fee. I should also tell you that there are scores of events at the Park each summer put on by the Park Service and they are all free. You could spend a few days there and stiil not participate in every program. Check them out here.

We will also post a more complete schedule for the Park when available in a couple months.

Our list of raffle prizes continues to grow. In addition to the first prize of the custom Matt Springer bust, Shep Paines book, and a GPS, we've added a Civil War Drummer boy by Ron Tunision and Civil War piece titled "The Youngest Hero" buy Terry Karselis. (see below) In addition to the painted pieces in our auction we will also have an original sketch by Keith Rocco of a Napoleonic subject from his new book. I'll have an image of that in a few days an will post it here. Get your tickets now!

Thanks for your support,

Mike
