Evening all, a wee bit of figure painting to add to my dio - he is a 3rd KGL Hussar and will be placed close to my Royal Horse Guard (The Blues) close to the Garden hedge.

Great looking mounted figure W,
That is a striking uniform.
I hope to see the results with the broken pieces sort out you received by mail the other day.
Cheers!

Thank you kindly, because the pieces will be being trimmed and sanded down more than half their depth and even more than that at the end where they will go from just a couple of mm, I will probably just work on the pieces on their own instead of trying to glue them altogether first.

With the figure above I have got a bit more to do on him - I will do a wee bit of slightly lighter shade Blue for high lights on his jacket and pelisse, then my flat coat to seal him.

I have another figure to try to make up - he is going to be a Dutch 27th Jagar, but as I do not have one in my stash - closest I have is a French Infantry - basically they have a very similar uniform and same Shako, the only difference is the missing British style bread bag and water bottle - that I am missing, but to be fair he could have lost these during the battle...

I like your thinking,
Sometimes figures have similar uniforms, very few detail to add or change and you achieve a great result, best way to stay within budget as well.

As for the broken pieces, i know it will be extra steps, i am sure the end result will be worth the time.
Cheers!
