Morning all, so after putting my KGL 3rd Hussar away, I have started on my Dutch 27th Jager, I have used one of my French line infantry as they share very similar uniforms, so far I have cut away his lower left side at the back of his coat where his sword and bayonet was, this has been replaced with a British bread bag and water bottle, that has been cut away from one of my British figures then trimmed to fit and glued in place, I have also filed away the Shako plate as I will attempt to paint in the Dutch design that's a horn - that's all I have done to him so far hence why no pics Yet.

A bit of history of why I am including a single Jager figure in my dio - at Waterloo the 27th Jager skirmishers where faned out in front of the ridge running from the road all the way across, when the French columns advanced and got near the bulk of the Dutch Jagers fell back, however I am placing my single figure on the road with the 95th rifles firing towards the French.

Evening all, a bit more progress with my Jager, excuse the photos they are a bit rubbish - his base colours are done for now and also some detail - washes to his face and hands.

Nice conversion. Takes me back to the days of my youth when we converted Airifx Japanese WWII figures to Napoleonics by sticking blobs of plasticine to them! Those were the days.....the early 1970s!!!

Thank you Nigel, closest thing for me from my youth was with all those horrible 1:72 scale Airfix Waterloo figures - trying to paint them etc... fun days.

Evening all, I have placed my Jager after cutting him away from his base, I have stood him in on of the wheel ruts and added some water around and over his shoes, so he is assisting the 95th firing on the French from about 30 yards.
I have also thrown in another arty shot from the front.

Morning all, not much in the way of a progress report, I am still doing some work on a few of my French figures including another injured fellow, to be honest I am having laptop problems at the moment with my keyboard - I am loosing kets faster than I can say "loosing keys" my backspace key - Arrow Left - Up and Down - "At" key and question mark keys are not working, I have got my on screen keyboard but its a pain to use and not fluent like using the ordinary keyboard.
I have done all the fixes through my software from re instaling the drivers to making sure the BIOS is up to date, infact about an hour ago I had a real scare - I had installed a so called fix for the keyboard drivers, and after re starting it had disabled my whole keyboard and I could not enter my laptops password - after about 15mins of sweating and thinking my laptop was dead - I then found that I could bring up the on screen keyboard in the pre start page and use that to put my pass in. I then went through my installed drivers that had caused the lock out - I then uninstalled them and that did the trick.
The keyboard is still the same with those keys - but ateast I can get into it.

"Phewwww"
