Avanpost have done it again with this one, this just falls into place and nearly paints itself
(I wish).
Loads more to do......I have cut the base that comes with the kit down to 45x45mm just so it fits my plinth and built up with miliput.

Hi Bob ....when I saw this released and the build on YouTube I knew you would be all over this one. Looks fab ....looking forward to more Bob...(y)

Thank you Mike, I first saw it on Facebook, the guy responsible for the sculpt. It was a long wait. This is one that needs to be painted in sections as there is so much detail to paint. The cartridge box being one.

Excellent start Bob. Looking forward to the finished product. Avanpost set the bench mark for ease of assembly. I like EVD too - simple and different.

Hi Bob

Really good to see you showing this , certainly a highly detailed sculpt and really coming on well

Basing looks good as does the treatment on the trousers

Is there a option to use the headwear currently on base ?

Look forward to seeing more on this

Happy benchtime

Excellent work, Bob - loving your weathering effects on the trousers & the groundwork.

Thankyou all for the positive comments, really chuffed with this one, the detail is outstanding. This is why I am painting parts off the figure.
Nap the hat on the groundwork is a spare from another Avanpost figure but I may well do this one again but in a white uniform with that hat. It's not fixed, I just wanted to see what it looked like.

Looking good Bob! Like you, I've painted a lot in parts. See you've added some facial hair again. Lovely work on the trousers, I've gone for stripes which you see on a lot of the artwork.

Nice one Bob (y)

Missed you yesterday at the Nats, but nice to see you are managing to still do a bit of painting (I like the idea of the white uniformed figure)

Cheers Tony, with a great detailed kit like these, they need painting separately. Although I attached the left arm.
