Bavarian Artillery - next step

Ok , so after the face it was time to move to the gaiters. I still have to apply the satin finish effect for the leather and do the buttons but other than that I'm almost there. I leave these steps till last because if I want to retouch I don't do it on the satin finish. You can also notice that before I painted the gaiters I blocked in the lower part of the coat and the groundwork to give me better perception of tones to use. The groundwork is just static grass laid in and there's still a lot to do on it

Before you move on, I was curious as to which colors you chose for the gaiters. They look very good and I would like to (hopefully) reproduce that on figures of my own.
