Away from figures, I like to go to the local RSPB reserves, we have plenty around where I live, take the camera and snap away. Great to get away and talk to like minded people.

It's always back to back for me.from one project straight to the next.Being a professional nurse in a methadone clinic and father of a 7 year old princess does not leave much free time so I always steel away time from my sleep in order to keep modelling.

Between the occasional painting of figures my main hobby is airgun benchrest target shooting and tinkering with air rifles. I collect spring guns from the 80’s and 90’s and refurb them to my individual tastes
I also make wooden things in the shed of dreams…..…dom

Well now, those are all beautiful and fascinating. I love those wooden stocks, classic.

I'm a bit of a 'jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none' switching from sculpting busts, 54mm figures, 1/35 afv's and 1/285 scale micro-dioramas and often have more than one project overlapping at any one time. One the plus side this means that I always have a number of different projects so no time to get bored; the down side is I am ok at most but not great at any.

Outside of modelling, my other source of enjoyment is woodworking. Mostly smaller projects (often bases for models! My biggest project was a couple of years ago - this full size bar billiards table:
