Seen this in the flesh and it's an amazing piece of work.Numerous stories incorporated in the scene.

Thanks guys for your very encouraging comments. It's always a real buzz when your work is well regarded by other modellers and painters.
Onwards and upwards, plans are well underway for my next two scenes one of which is a cricketing piece.......cricket what is that all about
Cheers

Well Del,what can I say !,I absolutely love it, this has to be one of your best works, the scenery you've created is beautifully done and captures the period brilliantly,i thought you had been quiet on the painting front and now I know why,i hope I get to see this in the flesh one day,10/10 ,congratulations mate (y)(y)

Much appreciated Brian. Thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish.
One of my favourite things is the background reading and without doubt London at this time has to have been the most exciting, dangerous, raucous places in the world.
After all where else would you expect a that a vat of porter would burst suddenly on Monday October 17, 1814 at Henry Meux’s Horse Shoe Brewery. Containing 3,550 barrels of beer amounting to more than a million pints, weighing more than 571 tons. http://seanmunger.com/2013/10/17/strange-brew-the-incredible-london-beer-flood-of-1814/

Hi Del

The research and trying to recreate a setting for a figure or bust is a part of modeling that I really enjoy,it really motivates me to complete something different from the norm, congratulations again :)
