Hi Chris

Nice update on this , love the sheer details your adding , buttons look great as does the texture effects , nice belt plate as well

Be interested how you did the badge on the sword belt

There will be many happy modellers to see this as a commercial piece

The dedicated approach you have is all credit to you

Looking forward to more on this

Happy benchtime

Hi Kevin,

Thank you very much, I think they are an improvement on the previous two. Regarding the belt plate, it was just hand sculpted using one or two of the tools I use. Trying to simplify the main shapes of the design and replicate these in miniature.

Here's also an update, moving onto the plaid having finished some main areas of the sleeves and cuff.
I'm using the Geomfix from Sylcreative again as a harder curing epoxy putty. As I'll be having to handle it to add the details and it needing to be thin in some parts. Also to stand up to the casting process.

Cheers Chris.

The most complete SBS I have seen of the sculpting of a figure, superb work, very good proportions and fine details, I love it.

Hello Edorta,

Thank you very much :) I've enjoyed sharing this particular sculpting process with fellow enthusiasts. I hope it may help someone in their future project's with a different way to approach or even as a bit of inspiration.

Warm Regards
Chris

A little closer, and I have the idea in my head with doing the hand guard of the sword, but it just been the execution. After the third attempt I think I've gotten most of that part done, apart with some clean up. Also decided to slightly short the arm's and am moving onto the left arm and hand.

Super seeing this fellow unfold step by careful step Chris.
Interested in Armature - looks like a bit like the old invisible man kit I built decades ago that had clear plastic cover over.
Do tell us more mate please.
Where did you get it from & how do you use it?
