did the black watch wear the glengarry on patrol duty in Belfast, and what colour was it./badger

Badger, thats a big NO. Not when i was there anyway. The only time i can remember one of the guy's wearing a glengarry was one of the pipers (theres a photo somewhere) at one of the RUC Stations, Andytown i think, playing the pipes at either New Year or piping in the Haggis on Burns night. Certainly never saw it wore on the streets or heard of it.

thank you,i am doing a small diorama, 120mm scale, of three black watch soldiers standing on a street corner, one with riot helmet on and two with t.o.s. on. I just wondered if any had ever wore glengarry on patrol./badger
