Hello Joe,

Sorry to hear about your accident.

Anyhow, check out the hip bone/ femur angle. It's where the most frequent errors occur. ;)

Looking forward to the next step,

Quang :)

Hey Joe, that's one nice subject you're handling there. Great to see you sculpting again. Keep us posted

Hey guys,

Thanks for the help and the kind words.

Janne,

You are right about the mustache, I have to go back and add a little texture.

Matthew,

I think you will like the book and like I said it is going pretty cheap. As of right now it is just a one off but who knows? :)

David,

Great idea on the lantern. I am going to see what I can do before I decide on the right arm.

Quang,

My friend, thanks for all the help and it is no problem about my accident, I am almost happy about it  because of it I got involved in figures and now have to beautiful little boys so there is no reason I should be unhappy about it. :)

Kenneth and Stephen,

Thanks buddies. I am really having fun again and looking ahead to what I want to do after this one.

Joe

PS here is a shot of the figure with some additional work. Not to happy about the neckerchief so may redo it in putty, to try and get a better scale appearance, thanks Gary.

Hey guys,

Thank you so very much for the kind words. I have been really having fun with this guy and I have tried to make it look more natural than all my other figures. It seemed like they were just to stiff. I appreciate all the help and info.

Quang,

Thanks for the help and the positive words of encourgement. The figure is 54 mm. I have not been able to try anything bigger except my Professor Moriarty, which still needs his hands and hat done, to be complete. :(

Hey Mat,

Thanks and you will have many ideas that will come once you get the book. Let me know how you like it.

I hope to have the figure finished in the next couple of days.

Joe

Well, here are a few more pictures. I really had hoped to have this guy done but had to take my little one to the ER the other day, he decided his head was not right so he needed the doctor's to put in a few stitches for him, 4 to be exact! Oh the hairs that I am losing over these wild ones!! Anyway back to the figure. I still have a few things to do but wanted to share with you where the figure stands.

Thanks for looking,

Joe
