Hey guys,

Here is the finished figure. I have had a good time painting this guy and I am pretty pleased with the paint job. I see things that I could improve on with each new one and will hopefully do on the next one.

Thanks for looking,

Joe

Loosing or not , the picture shows that you have done a great work my friend bothin sculpting and painting it . and you should be proudof it . Bettering is always searched of course and since you realise there is space for it you will definately achieve it. Bravo

Very nicely done Joe. Even if I would also prefer lighter photos you did great on this figure.

Joe, Great paintjob. You should be able to tweek the contrast or lighten your image with your new camera. Give your owner's manual a look to see where it's located and how it works.~Gary

Joe,

Congratulations. This is some excellent painting. Great work my friend.
I must say that the colour of the tye in redbrown gives just that contrast in the figure that makes him a eyecatcher.
Great painting.

Joe, nice work! He really turned out nicely. I agree, the redish tie is the perfect accent. Hope we get to see this guy in person at Tulsa this year!

Hello Joe,

Very natural period looking tones. The rendering of the wood is excellent. (y) (y)

I took the liberty to adjust the brightness of your pic. I think it's much better now. Hope you like it too! :)

Hello Joe,

congrats on a great figure!
I also like how the colours of groundwork and figure are very close together (it is very "brown" scene), but how you managed to bring it still alive by tight brushwork, good contrast in shading/lighting, subtle variations in the brown colours, and of course that red tie! Not as easy as it might look...
What will the next one be?
Best wishes,

Marijn
