Completed Bolshevik

Dear Planeteers,
after my "Pirate's Disaster" (I made a threat, if you are interested), I started a new project. It's the SK Miniatures "Bolshevik" and it's one of my favourite busts. I was waiting for a special moment and for my painting skills to further develop before I start with what I think is one of the best skulpts available on the market. Here is the start.

Excellent painting so far.
I painted this one back in 2013, and it still remains my favourite bust.
It was a joy to paint. The sculpt is perfect.

It flows from the brushes...
Nap, yes I will vary the the green tones. In particular for the coat I will add much more grey to the mix.
It appears that the early soviet uniform varied a lot. I guess most soldiers wore what the could get. I wonder if I should add some insignia to the colar of his coat like in this picture:

Have done 5 variations of this: Infantry; Cavalry; Trotsky as Minister of War; With Fur coat as NKVD; Red Leather helmet and coat
as member of Trotsky's armoured train bodyguards. Really enjoyed doing variations.
