Hello Mr. Detek

Thank you for your idea... It's a good thing to think... Blades... Let us see... Maybe we can do something about it...

About the chariot we pick up some drawings that we have, and design the chariot above the drawings... But I will check... And if is to be better, we are here...

Thank you Sir...

I stand corrected.:) Just read an article on the reconstruction of a chariot for the British Museum. It would appear that the axle was extremely long keeping the wheels well clear of the body.
Do a Google for 'building an iron age British chariot by Mike Loades. This was for the BBC programme Meet the Ancestors, unfortunately not available on BBC but might be lurking somewhere on YouTube.
The blades/scythes were of course apocryphal owing more to Da Vinci.

This is going to be amazing Hugo. Boudica has been a long ambition of yours to do and I think you are on your way. Looking forward to seeing it with the horses.
The only comment I could possibly offer is the figures should appear "braced" as I imagine keeping your balance on a speeding chariot on uneven ground would be difficult. No doubt you have information on how modern enactment appears.
Peter.

Hugo, this one is really beginning to shape up. I have to agree with Bootneck's comments that the figure should appear braced. If the horses are charging, then Boudicca does not seem too stable in the chariot to me. Just my two cents of course. I do not do ancient figures, but this one may be an exception because I really like the way this one is coming together.

Knowing a little about this era, the chariot looks right. Not so sure about items of clothing. Haven't encountered examples of the snakeskin-looking jerkin worn by Boudicca. Perhaps chain mail is more appropriate. The spear shaft she carries looks to be thick and, therefore, too heavy to be a practicable thrown weapon. The driver's clothing looks a bit conjectural; as I understand it, the Celts were obsessed with their appearance and the driver may be dressed too casually for the chauffeur of a queen. May have more comments if I can find the appropriate references.

Full of admiration for the 3D software modelling.
