Great work Mitsutaka san,
I know that will breathe life into this one, i have completed this figure and i really enjoyed it the face (my avatar) is so expressive - a real personality!

Looking forward to seeing this one play out - check out my home area on this forum for pics in my album if you should need them

Warm regards

Kirky :)

Thank you very much, KirKy.

Hi!, KirKy.
Thank you very much for your kind comment and advice.:)
I was seeing your work already.;)
A wonderful work.:)
I'd like to consult your work and advance painting.
I think the color is incomprehensible by a completion sample of a kit.
However your work can understand the color well, so I'm saved very much.:)

Basic paint was done.

I have finished basic painting.:)
As usual, it was painted by a hand piece.
The color of the clothes of this figure seems to be quite dark setting.
It seems separated into the color of the naval uniform and the accessories.
I have made a mistake in the color a little, so I'd like to cover it with painting of completion.

Thank you very much, John.

Hello!, John.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
I'm planning to paint completion from today.
It's expected to correct basic painting.

Thank you very much, Marc.

Hi!, Marc.
Thank you very much for your kind comment and advice.
Thank you for also telling me a valuable site.:)
I saw that immediately.
There were very much parts which should be learned.
Very valuable material.;)
The color of the clothes of my figure seems too bright as you say.
I'd like to adjust it at the stage of the painting of completion.
When the brightness of the real thing is applied to a small figure, I'm thinking a figure tends to be something for which the feeling that I sank isn't a little conspicuous.
I'd like to consider and complete an effect by the scale.
Again, thank you very much for your valuable material, Marc.

Painting of completion.

Hello, everyone.:)
I have almost finished painting of completion.
First the color of the uniform was painted.
I painted accessories in the next.
I painted a face in the next.
This work used all brushes.
The paint I use will be the finish of the gross, so I'm blowing MATTーVARNISH from later.
However it doesn't seem to have been possible to put out gloss perfectly yet.
When it's blown, the brightness has risen more than the front.
Maybe it was better to be considering that beforehand and be making the color.

Hi Mitsutaka,

As usual you've made very quick progress.

The colour of the uniform doesn't look correct to my eyes. It needs to be a darker shade of brown in my opinion, however this may just be the result of the lighting used for your photos.

I would also suggest that the puttees (strapping around the legs) be painted dark green, rather than khaki.

Keep up the good work my friend.

painting of groundwork.(Thank you very much, Tony.)

Hi!, Tony.
Thank you very much for your kind comment and advice.:)
I think a figure is quite light as you say.
So a uniform of a figure was established darkly a little.
Oil paints were used for this work.
Dark Brown was poured.
When it's seen by myself, I think it was the quite correct color, but when it's judged from my picture, it still seems light.
lighting may be quite light one.

The rest is painting of a ground work, but this has ended right now.:)
Gun don't come out, but I'm also painting a gun already here.
I think I can contribute a complete picture immediately.

Excellent work. Your color are alot better then the first picture's.
If i may, i have one silly question: Are you retired from work???
It must be, with this kind of speed paiting.

Marc

Thank you very much, marc.

Hello, Marc.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
YES I aren't working at present.
I don't know yet whether I retire, but no one will know what will happen now.
However I think it's unrelated that I say that making of a figure is quickly paced and that I'm not working.
I think it may be finished early by the way of my coat.

Thank you very much, my freind.

Hello, Tony.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
The picture by which I'm working seems to have been quite light.
However the way where work was advanced by this lighting is that a mistake of painting is easy to understand.
A picture is taken by the same light, when I take a picture instantly, the brightness of the figure seems to rise.
I don't know why it is.

Thank you very much, David.

Hi!, David.
Thank you for liking it.:)
I think the uniform of a British soldier at the time of Second World War wasn't so dark, when it's World War I, it seems to have been different.
I was confused there.
