no just the menu on the camera managed to reset everything bless him,

Done some more work most of the base coats and airbrush work done now so moving on to freehand

It looks like you should have sanded the figure prior to painting. Quite a few rough bits starting to show up now that you have some colour on it.

The top of the right arm particularly looks rather rough.

yeah i know Tony, i did give it a pretty vigorous sand but had to stop as the resin used for this one is really brittle will sand back what i can using my fine sand stick then hopefully what i cant get rid of without doing more harm than good will be lost in the wool effect i will be painting fingers crossed

for some obscure reason the paint on this began to crack and looked like a dried river bed so it has gone in an nail varnish remover and washing powder bath once clean i will give it a thorough wash then start again very strange that it has done this

I think acetone if that's what you used will react with the resin on this figure ......go steady as they say

I only use a small amount in the bath then wash off then repeat until clean slow but it works for me

I know its not the greatest once its stripped back gonna get more sanding done try and smooth it out best i can great sculpt though

You could try brushing/spraying parts of the figure with Mr Surfacer 500, then sand it down - Ive used it on some of my sculpts to feather in surfaces. It is a kind of primer/filler which can be overpainted without problem.

Finally managed to get the paint off last night. came down this morning to do some work on it and discovered it had cracked all over the surface completely UN-salvageable something must be off with the resin hence the initial reaction with the paint highly p@#sed off

so won't be building this one then still got the head though lol

He has the moulds and the master pattern and also the casting equipment to cast them-what's his problem?

Seems this is where figures go to die....shame really cause I think this company has some fine figures in its collection...
