I am sure that you must be close to 50 Zulu Wars Europeans already Richie,
So Brian is not so wide of the mark. Get working on those extra Zulus Mate.
I can see it now....About an 8' X 4' base with Isandlwana at one end a little time slip in the middle and Rorkes Drift at the far end.
I am sure that Christine will not mind you turning the dining room table into a Diorama........May be.:cautious:
All the very best Mate,
Keith
Keith that's a brilliant idea to turn riches living room into a diorama,I tell you what though, and I'm being serious now I would love to see him do a diorama with say 15 to 20 figures,I'm sure he would do a good job on it as well, perhaps he'll give it some thought :)

Yes Brian I totally agree.
I've watch this lad get better and better over the months and I think he is the one Guy here who could hack such a project, As you say 15/20 120mm figures in a confined area, even as small as a foot square.
Come on Richie get your head around this one.
All the very best you two Gentlemen,
Keith
Oh yes..... your Queens shilling will be in transit tomorrow Richie so you will be under my command anyway:D

Talking of Military Modelling does anyone remember the conversion of Mike Frenchs zulu figures somebody did of all the VC winners at Rorkes Drift...will have to see if I can Find it out

I have a vague recollection of it Kevin,
I am sure that somebody here will put some meat on the bone.
Cheers
Keith

Thanks for posting that. I had never seen it before which is strange as its long before I dropped MM from my monthly budget.

Colin

HiKevin,
Thanks for looking in glad you like this one although it's been sat around for far too long now and I must get this sorted in the coming weeks.
cheers
Richie

Hi Keith/Brian,
I might just pick up your gauntlet, infact no I will pick it up, I have a good idea how I could pack abot 12 figures into a small space, but for now I must complete my existing W.I.P. Might need to put a post up in the markets section for a couple of figures though so I can convert them. I might just get the pencil out this weekend and sketch this down.

Hi Kevin,
I have tracked down a few of Rod Smith's work and it's very inspiring, I would love to do that scene from Rorke's Drift too.Two of the seated figures are conversions from Verlinden's German Kubelwagon crew.
cheers
Richie

Hi Colin,
Dig out your old M.M.M. and have a look they are fantastic mate.
cheers
Richie
