Buying Figures and Busts in AUSTRALIA

Hi folks, could someone give me the heads up as to where I could purchase busts and figures in Australia or do I just order from overseas... ? I'm mainly interested in 200mm or 1/9th but could go smaller... Cheers, Marc

It's pretty simple mate. You can buy them online directly from the manufacturer or you can buy them online from an online retailer. There are virtually no local retail stores in Australia who stock a good range of figures and large scale busts, but Firestorm is a good Australian online retailer who can import most of the leading brands for you. The high cost of postage (especially heavy white metal kits) and the conversion of the A$ to USD, UK Pounds or Euros is one of the hidden costs to consider when making a purchase from overseas. I can personally recommend SK Miniatures, El Greco Miniatures and Red Lancer as online retailers based overseas.

Don't know if this is any use to you but Ellie's Miniatures Ship post free world wide, we are based in the UK and have a few busts that my be of interest to you. we are also stocked by different outlets across the world but not Australia sorry. red lancer, and S K miniatures stock our range but I think they charge postage. hope that helps. the link to our site is at the bottom of this message.

As Tony mentions it can be just as easy to order online for the specific kits you are after, plenty of reviews on here to give you an idea regarding various kits.

Also as Ian mention us small manufacturers will ship world wide and I have shipped kits to Australia before. I was also fortunate to meet a couple of Australian modelers at Euro Militair one year who seemed bent on taking everything home in their luggage . Which may be another option if you know anyone who is attending a model show.

So there may not be a local model shop to you but there are plenty of places online to order from and being on this site you are part of a global model club too.

Hi Marc,
As suggested by Tony, we do ship worldwide. Not sure how hard you get hit on the Customs side, but at least at the checkout you also have VAT taken off on our website so products will be 20% cheaper. We also offer loyalty discounts for website members as well as seasonal sales.
