Hi Guys

Saw this on Social media

hello to all,
As mentioned by the Prime Minister, yesterday, any gathering of more than 100 people is forbidden; the city hall of Montrouge follows the government instructions:
..." Suspension of municipal cultural programming from March 14 In accordance with the instructions of the Government to ban meetings of more than 100 people, all shows and exhibitions offered at the Museum and the Media Library are cancelled until further notice.....

Which means, you'll get it that our 2020 contest is canceled.

We would like to thank all the brave who had pre-signed, all those who offered us beautiful demos and animations.
Believe that we are truly sorry for this cancellation but we promise the party will be even more beautiful in 2021.
While waiting to see us again for new "adventures" figurinistiques, take care of yourself.

The team of the AFM Montrouge.

Following a meeting with Darlington College today, I regret to announce that Sword & Lance will NOT be going ahead on 28th March. The advice re Covid-19 and social gatherings has changed rapidly in the last few days leaving us & the College with no alternative. We hope to re-schedule the show in October when hopefully we will be in a better situation. Whilst we are contacting as many people as we can as quickly as possible, please spread the word to avoid someone having a wasted journey. Apologies for any inconvenience caused - we have tried hard to keep the show on but events have overtaken us.

To our friends and patrons,

With the increasing spread of the Wuhan virus, and the measures both the federal and state governments have enacted to limit travel and physical contact, we regret that we have decided to cancel our 2020 Show & Mart. It’s not a decision we make lightly, but recognizing that your health may be at risk, and that so many exhibitors, patrons, and vendors are avoiding undertaking traveling to such events, it is a necessary decision.

For those of you who had already made reservations at the Radisson Philadelphia-Northeast, the hotel is cancelling all room reservations without any penalties or other costs to you.

For our vendors, we’re returning your table reservations in full.

On a positive note, we have our dates for next year’s show. The 2021 Show & Mart will be held on Friday, April 30th, and Saturday, May 1, 2021.

We look forward to seeing everyone next year, even moreso because we can’t meet this year.

With our best wishes for your health and that of your loved ones,
The members of the MFCA

Yep, we held out as long as we could, but when our governor last week closed the schools in Montgomery County, which is not far from where we hold the show, the writing was on the wall. Since then, schools in other, adjacent counties were closed, businesses were asked to close their physical facilities voluntarily, and now, taking effect overnight tonight, they're ordered to do so. The hotel was impacted by those restrictions, and we couldn't hold the show if we tried.

It's sad, but it's OK, we'll see everyone next year.

Prost!

Hi, I hope that you are keeping well.
It is with regret that we have decided to cancel the BMSS Annual Show on 25th April, in line with the government’s requests to minimise social interaction and reduced journeys. Also, many of our attendees are in the age bracket for greatest threat to their health, the space is limited at Pimlico and it would be impossible to keep to the 2-metre spacing!
The good news is that there will be an even bigger Annual Show next year the same weekend (25th April 2021) which will be, as announced at the AGM, in Reading at the Reading Central Salvation Army hall in Anstey Road, Reading, RG17JR, opposite the Hexagon theatre and Oracle shopping Centre.
