Thanks for the feedback guys. This figure did have alot of different textures that made it fun to paint. The trousers were the first time I tried the large checkered pattern and it turned out well. The cape as well as the leather coat made a good contrast. Aitna has a couple of 90mm Celts that I picked up on ebay over the last couple of years.

Mark ~ I went back and looked at the figure in the case and the eyes are spot on. Must be the angle of the camera and the photo.

Guy - Looks good. I like those pants. Plus all those different textures. I might need some hints regarding a square pattern for my Boudicca figure.

Planning on Tulsa this year.

Hello Guy

Just picked up on this one. Very nice work - I especially like the texture of the cloak and the subtle shades in the check pants. It's quite an imposing piece at 90mm I should think

I ought to recognise the figure, but it doesn't ring any bells with me. I know the artwork it is based on.

So that's what you get up to on your holidays

Regards

Phil

Guy,
Very nice figure and displayed perfectly. The different textures are real neat and I love the checkerboard. A superb job
Cheers

Thanks for the kind words Alex. This figure did cover the whole spectrum of textures........was fun to do all of them on the same figure.
