Salvo you are absolutely correct. At this stage the figures are notionally placed on the groundwork.
As the groundwork nears completion particularly when I decide how deep to make the water I'll adjust the position of the figures and make any modifications required. What I might do is switch the chief with the standard bearer, the chief is cast looking down the other 2 staring straight out.
Thanks again it's constructive comments such as this that is the lifeblood of Planet Figure and raises the standard of us all.

I did get it finished Steve and it went as a birthday present to a relative in Germany. Naturally I didn't take any photos of the finished piece
, but I did take some good shots of the finished groundwork which to be honest was the best feature. I'll post these with a rundown on the materials used.Derek
