Finished this lovely little bust (120mm?). a beauty to paint and I am pleased with this one.
Come on Gra get the Varna one done, I've got itchy fingers. :happy:

The photo has blown out some what, the yellow has a wash of burnt umber.

Hi Bob,
Very nice job all round great face.
Not sure if its colour not showing through but the cap
cover looks the same colour as the tunic instead
of a black oil skin / cloth.
But hope mine turns out as good.

Seriously Bob that is a lovely piece, the only reason I didn't get one off Gra is I have the bigger Moz Corry one smoking the pipe.
I do fancy making the Varna one into a different Regiment though.
Maybe the Irish lancers rather than just the usual 16th.

He was putting a converted sergeant together from the standing Trumpeer, have you heard anything?
I was going to ask him at Darlington, but he was in
demand to chat to all hands.
