With thanks to Pete, we have taken ownership of the Reiver and the Knight of Bannockburn.
These will be released in the future but fitting with our Grieve range, in resin with metal parts.

This brings a new period to CGS and with keeping traditional figures of the past available combined with news sculpts.
Details will be posted when released
Thank you

I strongly recommend that you take a closer look at the German Mercenary Captain as well. I know - it`s another German:D but IMHO it is one of the best models in Pete`s great series and there are not so many knights in gothic armour available. The scale of 80mm is today more popular because of the increase of 75mm-figures.
Cheers, Martin

Hi Gra,

This is good news that the range will continue well done to CGS , a good area to get into with lots of subjects potential as well for future releases. .

Good for you mate. I've always been a fan of Keith Durhams figures and finally picked up the mounted reiver last year.
It still stands the test of time (y) I agree with Martin, the German Mercenary Captain is a cracking figure and if you can get it and market it at a reasonable price I'm sure it'd do well.
Cheers
Derek

Wow,
I found the reiver last year in Australia and paid an arm and a leg to get it over the pond...... had I only known...

Nice to see these pieces beings kept alive!

Graham those are three of the finest mounted figures ever released!!! What a fantastic novelty to our small community!!! :joyful:

Congratulations! I just hope newcomers will adhere to them like the 80's and 90's guys did! Fantastic news!

Wow great stuff Gra

I hope they do really well for you

There's always guys who didn't get these classics first time round o
r would buy them for a second time

Good luck for your Euro releases too

Paul

Thank you, with thanks to Pete A we now also have these 2 pieces also and a full range of heraldry decals.

Im just working out the pieces to be resin cast , which I will do and the metal parts ie reins, spurs, swords will be kept in metal as I have the moulds and masters.

There will be tweaks to the figures but the option with be to buy the original or the updated version, just really pleased another bit of modelling tradition is kept going :), but stick with me as it will take a while, I will start with the reiver.
