There was no intended insult direct meant, however I appreciate the feathers I have ruffled, certainly not meant to kev.

It is funny that some think I HAWK wares yet never look or comment on a personal level. However, I apologise, Mark S, you can do as you see fit mate, we have met on FB so no need for me to send you a link, you look the same as my dad mate with the beard and glasses, so please don't pretend we don't know each other, it's just easier for you to use this forum than under your Mark S****** name as you are accountable then.

Colin, I think your busts and painting are superb, take me as I am, I'm sorry but it shows you don't just need to come from New Zealand to say the wrong thing. I have, and sorry if I have offended. Bad day and I said everything wrong, sorry.
Apologies

Couldn't have said it better Col, it is a nice sculpt whoever it is :sneaky:
Steve
I wasn't hawking wares, it's not even on the release section, just showing a new sculpt, or does the fact it is now a Cgs membership make me different? Am I do not allowed a personal opinion, everyone else seems to have one, and that's ok. At the least its brought a bit of banter out on here which I think some were itching for :)

Graham perhaps your opening post gave the impression you were "hawking wares" mate.

"After 4 years CGS is gaining ground.
We have and constantly have new sculpts and all masters will be released."

Perhaps a reasonable impression for anyone to take from that Graham and certainly one which I'm sure you intended to make.
Anyway I don't think anyone is really concerned about that, but I have to say Graham I'm sorry but I don't recall any interaction with you on Facebook at all.
Forgive me if I've got that wrong but I simply don't remember......and I feel I would remember such an encounter.
Cheers. Mark Stothard.

Mark, I will be careful how I word everything from now on. I have given my apologies. We both know there is no love lost between us and you will jump on every word I say to find a negative or poke the monkey.
Ref FB, yes we have :) with a good mutual friend on here. No mate needed as I know I am far from that , but also you must have bigger fish to catch than just me, or do you sit waiting for me to pop my head above water lol.
All the best
Fair play posting your name, the first time I think you have but respect for that

Well I am sorry but I really don't recall but my memory is not as good as it was.
As far as this strange business about my name is concerned it's been publicly accessible on my profile page for almost ten years.........I was told at the time by Gordy that I should abbreviate it on my avatar.

But yes indeed my surname is STOTHARD..........

"Recorded in many forms including Stoddard, Stodhart, Studdard, Stothard, Studdert, Stooders and Studders, this is an English surname, but one which is also widely recorded in Ireland and sometimes Scotland. The name has two possible sources. The first is occupational and describes a breeder of horses from the Old English pre 7th century word "stod", meaning a stud farm. To thios prefix has been "fused" the word "hierde", meaning a herdsman. The second possible source is again Old English from the word "stott", meaning castrated cattle, and "hierde", as before. The surname is medieval, and the development has included the following recordings taken from ancient surviving rolls and charters: Geoffrey Stodhurd of Northumberland in 1219, Richard le Stodehard of Yorkshire in 1332, and Thomas Stoderd, also of Yorkshire, in 1481. Amongst the later recordings taken from church registers are those of George Stoddard who married Anne Sexton on November 14th 1559, at St. Dunstans-in-the-East, Stepney, Edward Stoddard who married Agnes Smith on October 7th 1577 at Tottenham, and in Ireland Abraham Stooders of Templemore, County Longford, a witness there on June 1st 1816, and Mary Studders who married Sam Matthews at Easky, County Sligo, on June 13th 1846. The first recorded spelling of the family name is shown to be that of Vlfus Stodhyrda. This was dated 1195, in the Pipe Rolls of Cumberland, during the reign of King Richard, The Lionheart, 1189 - 1199. Throughout the centuries, surnames in every country have continued to "develop" often leading to astonishing variants of the original spelling."

Nice one, well now we can bun fight on here together with true identities :). No need for the full history though, although appreciated. All the best and here's to the next time I pop my head for you lol, until then, keep busy, but more so constructive
Best wishes
Hope you don't wear a kilt because an ancestor once did, Scollick is also Scottish, but I'm English :)

Your profile has been made private as you know and when I joined 15 years ago as Gra30, there was no question on making your name shorter, look at many of the names on here in full . It was also asked that a full name was kept open on your profile and public if you did use a shorter log in name.

We seem to be back to the times before PF had had it`s day - well done so far.:depressed:
An apology usually implies a change in behaviour - otherwise it`s worthless.
Back to the bust - here is the scene it`s title refers to

Nice one Martin.....but he actually says the phrase for the first time much earlier in the movie.....all be it .....to the same character.... 'Ringo'

Nice release Graham.
Look forward to seeing Earp.

My feathers were definately not ruffled so fear not ..I like banter and I really like the bust , it's a nice addition to the CGS range ....

As I gave said before your products are full of top quality resin ..and white metal ( your Hussar is one I prticularly coukd refer to. )

It's good to see new releases from any company and its good to see CGS showing us the latest ...I hope it long may continue

Happy releasing

Quite stunning . I like it a lot. Now from MMM I procured Rooster Cockburn - Wyatt Earp would be a good companion I think...

Cheers

I was just on the site, but this bust wasn't on it. Every time I searched for a particular size of figure (100mm, 120mm etc.), the all of them (except for this bust) came up.
I might be interested in this and in 'Wyatt' when he's available.
Loved the movie.
Dennis Quaid as 'Doc' was the only good thing about that Costner travesty.
IMHO, of course!

You haven't been drinking have you Gra?......Jimmy Saville? Rolf Harris?
And thank's for the tip I might get a T-shirt made that reads "The Dick of Planet Figure".....luv it.

You always bring that up, it's a Friday night here and I ain't glued to PF in the week as i do work, and my private life has F all to do with anyone let alone you. But if you get the T Shirts done I will even sponsor it, I could sell a lot and probably the best sure investment I could ever make, and a product I would truly believe in , Mark S and dick in one quote is a win win win. Off to raid the fridge :)
