Anybody got good clear photos of USMC 4th regiment in China in the 30s? I'm doing a figure for a collector. USMC field service uniform, boots, gaiters and both campaign hat (Montana peaked hat) and the tin hat.

I found several web sites and they were helpful, but I'm looking for 2 reference photos.
(1) A full length illustration or photo of the field service uniform from the back. I have the MacGruder illustration of the young USMC artillery officer from The Company of Military Historians book.
(2) A close-up of the knees of the breeches from the side. Did the enlisted wear the same type of trousers as officers? Tight knees, 4 buttons or snaps (can't tell which) on the outsides. The one very good black and white photo I have of two Marines on guard duty in Shanghai seems to show completely different trousers, but about the same type shirt.

Any help anybody can offer would be appreciated.

All the best,
Dan
