Hi Guys

I thougth we have had a post where we could what we would like as a commercial casting for christmas, but if Santa could bring you any kit ,pose, era, scale what would it be.

Mine would be similar to one of Bill Ottingers Historex matserpieces in his book, its a chasseur trumpeter jumping his horse ,pelisse and equipment showing the movement, all in 120mm.

Whats your choice

Robin

I think if I could get anything, maybe a 90mm or 120mm figure of a Native American Powwow dancer in full motion with all the clothing flying around :)

I would like to get the Andrea kit of Indy Jones and his father in the sidecar. Any other Andrea, Pegaso, Elite, Latorre or EMI figure would be great too. Especially EMI, as I collect those.

Greetings and ho ho ho

Gino

Hmmm........If I could sit down and order anything I wanted for Christmas it would be Pegaso's Mounted Ghengis Kahn and their 90mm Attila The Hun. Oh well...........I said "If"

Merry Christmas everyone

I would like to see a 54 or 70 mm Captain Jack Sparrow or maybe a figure of the Russell Crowe "Master and Commander." What do you say, Gary?

Joe

Joe, Since I own the making of Master and Commander book, and both movie soundtracks, I do not doubt they'll provide inspiration for a future project(s). Have you ever considered mind reading as a profession?~Gary

Gary,

Don't I have to have a mind first? Remember the 2 little ones I have must have taken it from me. I am keeping my fingers crossed in the mean time!

Joe

Mike,

As a matter of fact, the short-lived ARC Miniatures (UK) did a 120mm (or 90mm) diorama some 7-8 years ago.

It comprised the two sumo opponents and the referee in metal and the 'ring' and 'roof' in resin (pardon my 'barbarian' terminology ). Quite a spectacular piece and not bad actually. I remember wanting to buy one but bulked at the 150USD they were asking.

These kits have been long sold out but I think I've seen one not so long ago. If you're interested, let me know.

OK Quang..... we still haven't heard what you want for Christmas..

There must be something you have your eye on?

Oh, I'd be happy with a 120mm figure of Uma Thurman in the 'butcher' scene of Kill Bill.

I've always dreamed to use all that Carmine Red in a SPLATTER.

Quang,
The $150US is a little steep for this poor dispatcher ;) , but if you happen to come across any pictures, I'd be interested in seeing them. Actually, I've been toying with the idea of sculpting such a scene myself if I can get through a couple other projects (y) .
