Looking good Gerard, although to me he looks a little boss-eyed in the second pic but I think it may be the camera angle making the nose protector hide a little of the right eye. He looks almost as slim and athletic as me
Thanks for sharing him,
Billy
Hi SG. I wanted to try working with pigments for quite some time now -never done it before- so I'll better take some practice first on an older figure..Hello Gerard, Love the face tones, superb blending. The helmet, and leather belts, look very realistic. What will you use for the weathering, pastels or paint?, or maybe a combo of the two? Beautiful painting so far Gerard, best of luck with its completion. Regards, SG
... And you were right taking a look to the number of likes recieved! LOL.Chubby??! I think he is athletic. And I do believe that many regulars will back me on this.
Cheers

Thanks Gary, I was indeed a little concerned about that, so I decided to spice up the whole thing adding an easy pattern of rings and "scales" on the draco's tail, being inspired on the following pic.Hi Gerard, you've done a lovely job with this bust. The painting looks muted though not dull, well done!
Best wishes, Gary.
Great job...who makes this?
