Hi guys ,
Thought I'd post a couple of pics of a "Auguste" clown bust that I have picked up from e bay ..just a bit of fun and certainly a talking point at shows (the flower in the hat is "sculpted") I think it might be from a Russian maker (possible Surrov ?) , the base on the clown was painted as normal and then I used irridescent medium from W & N and it gave this effect ! The bow tie is sculpted (snapped the original !!!) but not rotating !!!!

Thanks for all your comments , it is a nice figure .colourful in the display cabinet as well !!!!!!!...I would be interested in what else the sculptor has produced ...!!!!

Jesting around

On this subject I have also done a "clown" from the middle ages ..again no idea who made it but enjoyable all the same., I particularly liked the grin on his face ..welcome any comments .

Hello to you all
Exactly Didi, a great belgian master, Adrien DE MEYER, a very old friend of me since 25 years,
He died, to soon, last year forgot by many out of Belgium.
It was made by real pictures of belgian clowns a anoter one exists also, it was sell under the label TORGAL and cast by resicast.
