Hi Ralph
Well Done to you my friend , this has come out good like tge result with the neck wound ... nice result there .
I like the way you paint , nice fleshtones and you are good with the Reds as seen here .
Must say what a great offer.from Graham at CGS ...customer service of the highest there but you chose not to take it up but use your modelling skills instead .
Great to know you will be still painting and fishing as well ...both so good for you ....but be careful you don't use your rod as a brush.....lol
Happy times both at the bench and at the waters edge
Cheers Nap
It's always nice to read your comments and I'm happy that you like it and the way I paint(likewise with yours).
Grahams customer service is top notch, not much modelling skill went into the bandage,s you know I made a mess trying to rebuild the collar but the bandage was simple enough,it was just tissue paper folded up put in place and watered down PVA added to it left to dry then painted.
I couldn't stop painting as I know it really helps with my illness the same also with fishing.I don't want to go downhill again.
I have this picture in my mind now of a brush tied to the end of a rod and painting a model of a fish
.
All the best.
Ralph.
