Hi All,
Here is something else I have started in attempt to get back to the bench. I would like to thank Ross of Mitches Military Models, as I picked some Zulu war character heads off him at scale model Scotland. Thanks mate.
I have made some minor changes to the face, mainly the nose profile, chin and facial hair I have also redone the helmet. I have added the upper torso, arms and rifle from my bust. I added the medals, sash and currently working on the legs. Need to make a rifle sling and do a bit of tidying up on the upper half, but quite pleased with the progress so far.
cheers
Richie

Hi Roger,
Thank mate, I'll bring him on Friday. I need to fiddle, for something unique.:)

Hi John,
Thanks mate, I thought you would like this one.

Hi Marc,
Thanks mate, just hope the bottom half goes as well.

Hi Brian,
Thanks mate, I really liked what you did with Hooky, so I thought I would pull my finger out.
cheers

Hi Nap,
Thanks mate, it's way off a bit of colour yet, well may be a bit of grey.

Hi Michael,
Thanks mate, the Zulu war is definitely a weakness of mine too.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks mate, and thanks for the vote of confidence.

Hi Dewi,
Thanks mate, it is one of the reasons, but the main reason is I lost my mojo for a long time.

Hi Brock,
Thanks mate, glad you like him.

Hi Al,
Thanks mate, I'm just glad to be doing something again.

I will post again when I make some significant progress.
cheers

Hi All, "ALRIGHT THEN"
I have managed to move this on a good way and he is now standing.:) Still have the rifle sling, piping and rear tapes on the tunic, trouser tapes, sash, gaiters, swagger stick to tuck in his belt to make and a bit of general tidy up.
I must say I'm very happy with what I have achieved so far even if it's not totally perfect. He does look impressive to the eye and I can't to get some colour on my Colour Sgt.
cheers
Richie

Hi Roger,
Still only blue tacked mate. I think this one has a charmed life based on the amount of times I've dropped it.:) Started blocking in the head with colours even though not finished sculpting.
cheers
Richie
