Coming along beautifully now, shame about the slouch hat but he does look good in the helmet.

Cheers Simon

Thanks Simon , was a shame about the slouch but a good learning curve ...staying positive

Working on the water bottle going for a very dark blue cover as in references I've seen , will be a good contrast to the Kharki

Here's a couple of brighter pics under a light hence the shine on leather

Off to pack ready to go in morning ! .....impossible to fit any painting stuff in car .......Carole has so much clothes in cases ...me I have got a small hold-all....lol

Click on for larger images ....I've noticed the "blips" on arm ....will sort that out !

Better lighting, the blending on the khaki is so subtle, the contrast from the badges and water bottle will be good. Have a good time.

Cheers Simon

I agree with Simon, the khaki looks great, lovely subtle but effective work. Hopefully you will have this done for Yeovil......?

Very little time to get to bench or PF but did paint and fit the water bottle in place , pleased with the look

Tried lead sheeting for the straps ...just didn't sit right so out came the putty !

Need this finished for Yeovil ...this year !

Looks good, for the wood you'll need wood grain paint, made by the same people who make tartan and camouflage paint.

Cheers Simon

Cheers .....can't find that woodgrain , found tartan !
